At the center of the Supreme Court\\u2019s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade is the Mississippi case Dobbs v. Jackson Women\\u2019s Health Organization

In 2018, Mississippi passed a 15-week abortion ban. The abortion clinic Jackson Women\\u2019s Health challenged the law. 

\\u201cWhen I took office, that case had been sitting at the Fifth Circuit and it needed to be appealed,\\u201d Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch said. \\u201cWe looked at it and said, absolutely, we wanted to appeal this case to the United States Supreme Court.\\u201d 

Fitch joins \\u201cThe Daily Signal Podcast\\u201d to talk about Mississippi\\u2019s role in overturning Roe. She also weighs in on the Biden administration\\u2019s claims that it will continue promoting abortion.
