Most people don\\u2019t understand the extent to which law enforcement and the Border Patrol become humanitarian and first-aid responders to illegal immigrants trying to enter the country, according to Sheriff Mark Lamb of Pinal County. I recently traveled to the U.S. Mexico border, and spoke with Sheriff Lamb, who serves an Arizona county about 60 miles from the border. Sheriff Lamb joins the podcast to talk about the largely unknown humanitarian role of law enforcement and the border patrol with illegal immigrants.
