It\\u2019s past time to open schools, Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., says.


\\u201cThe percentages for teachers or students is really, really low,\\u201d Biggs says of the risk of contracting COVID-19. \\u201cIn Florida, they\\u2019re playing sports.\\u201d


\\u201cThe flip side of it, of course, is this isolation, this online learning, this basic lockdown for these kids is producing greater suicide rates, higher depression rates,\\u201d Biggs says. \\u201cAnd something like half of all the adolescents and young adults have experienced some suicidal ideation that they had never had before. That\\u2019s a result of these school lockdowns, which don\\u2019t follow the science and they don\\u2019t make sense.\\u201d
